Frequently asked questions

What is swing trading? +

Swing trading is a style of trading where positions are held for days to months, targeting larger price moves on daily, weekly, and monthly charts. Unlike day trading, it doesn't require sitting in front of screens all day. Most swing traders spend 30-60 minutes per day on analysis and execution.

Who is this course for? +

Professionals who want to trade alongside a full-time career. The course teaches a structured, high-timeframe methodology that requires about 2 hours per week. It's designed for people who want to build their own edge, not copy someone else's trades.

Can swing trading beat passive investing? +

That's exactly what the 25-Year Trading Experiment is testing. In Year 1 (2025), the actively traded portfolio returned +14.1% vs +6.3% for the passive index fund. But 25 years is a long time. Follow along to see how it plays out.

How much time does swing trading take? +

About 2 hours per week. A full analysis session on the weekend (60 minutes), a quick check on Monday open, brief daily monitoring via price alerts, and a weekly review on Friday close. Orders are placed with predefined stop losses. Many swing traders execute from their phone.
